They arent supposed to shed that much, i would call and ask a vet, there could be some sort of physical problem with him for it to shed that much! also just because hair is short doesnt mean they dont shed, short haired dogs actually tend to shed more!

That's weird. They're not supposed to shed that much. Try changing his diet to a higher quality food. If that doesn't help, then take him to the vet for some answers.

um are you sure its a mini schnauzer. unless someting has changed schnauzers, mini or standard are non shedding dogs. Is it a mix? only thing to suggest is brushing him daily.

look for these at like Petsmart they have animal bed that collect loose hair on the pet that lays on it and the hair stays on as long as you clean it off ever 2-4 weeks (depends on how much he/she sheds) cleaning is easy just throw it on the washer or take a comb to it takes like 15 min. with a comb to clean it... not sure if it's at Petsmartt might have been somewhere else, but I think it was there
