Whenever i say "make it short" to Canadian hairdressers , they make it semi-bald. However, i just goto Indian barber and don't say anything , they give me the perfect haircut for men which is not too short, neither too long.
What terminology should i use when i goto hair dresser. Is 1/4inch too short? Any Ideas? I'm south asian boy living in Toronto.

id think that indian barbers would now a bit more (culturally) what hairstyle would look good on indian guys...maybe the next time you go to the hairdresser, you can ask him/her to give you a "clean and formal looking" cut...formal, business type cuts are not too short or too long...and personally, i think it makes guys look clean (not shabby)...gives a good first impression...not that other haircuts look bad...depends on each person's features..but yeah...key terminology "clean cut with a formal, professional (business) style" (btw, if u know about U of T please answer my questions)
